Can the Hammers pull away from trouble?

Manchester City to win with BTTS @ 7/4 with Coral

Manchester City put any doubts over their mindset now they have won the Premier League title to bed with an emphatic 5-0 home win over Swansea last week at the Etihad Stadium. That result leaves Carlos Carvalhal sweating, with just four points and one place separating them from the bottom three. Two points above them are City’s next opponents West Ham, who despite some mixed results under David Moyes, should be safe from relegation themselves. They may feel they need a point or two more, but with six points difference between themselves and 18th placed Southampton, who have won just once in 20 league games, Moyes will be quietly confident they have done enough.

But it will be tough on Sunday when City come to town. Pep Guardiola’s men have lost just twice this season and still average over three goals per game in the league. Kevin de Bruyne, fresh from missing out on the PFA Player of the Year award to Mohamed Salah of Liverpool, is still hunting down the top assist accolade, while in Sergio Agüero’s continued absence, Gabriel Jesus will likely start up front after his goal last weekend.

Backing Manchester City to win by multiple goals has been like printing money this season, and given West Ham’s poor record in defence recently, losing to Liverpool, Swansea and Burnley all by a three goal margin a matter of weeks ago. City can be found at 21/10 to win with a -2 handicap, which is a bet very much worth taking. But we do also see the home side scoring, with Marko Arnautovic in good form right now.
