Liverpool travel to Southampton on Sunday afternoon and it will be a meeting of old friends at St Mary’s. Virgil van Dijk returns for the first time just a month after leaving in a £75million deal, while Dejan Lovren could also play a part against his former club. Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Lallana will not be involved, but Saints boss Mauricio Pellegrino is also coming up against his old side, having enjoyed a brief spell as a player and coach under Rafa Benitez on Merseyside.
