AS Roma and BTTS @ 12/5 with William Hill
A surprise 4-2 win over Napoli brought a terrible run of form to an end for AS Roma. The Serie A leaders were stunned by a double from Edin Dzeko and goals from Cengiz Under and Diego Perrotti It was a landmark game for Dzeko with the Bosnian forward scoring his 49th and 50th goals in Serie A.
WHEN THE FUN STOPS, STOP!
It was an achievement that got the forward into the history books. He became the first player to score 50 goals in three of Europe’s top five leagues following half-centuries for Manchester City in the Premier League and Wolfsburg in the Premier League.
The form of their incredible goalkeeper Alisson also played a huge part in achieving that result. It’s difficult to see Roma hanging on to the Brazilian stopper with admirers gathering by the week. Liverpool are most prominent in the queue of suitors for the ball-playing sweeper keeper. The Reds have had high-profile issues with goalkeepers in recent years and Allison could be the player to fix that problem. He wouldn’t come cheap but Liverpool should overpay out of respect for the bargain deal which brought Mo Salah to Anfield last summer.

This weekend, Roma take on Torino, who are coming off the back of a shock defeat at the hands of Verona. All is not well with Il Toro. Fans have been protesting about what they feel is mismanagement of their club. They’ve protested against the owners and disrupted training sessions with paper bombs. Hardly the backdrop for a cohesive performance in the capital.
