Chelsea v Bournemouth Betting Predictions | Premier League BettingPublished December 25, 2016
Out of the way! Juggernaut coming through! Chelsea are on an eleven-game winning streak and it doesn’t look like coming to an end any time soon. Antonio Conte has fine-tuned his side to cope with all kinds of challenges. It’s been more than a switch to 3-4-3 that has Chelsea playing like champions. The hunger is back. The desire is back. The relentlessness is back.
The challenge of Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day won’t fill the champions-elect with fear. Having picked up four points from their last five Premier League trips, the Cherries are low-hanging fruit for a gluttonous bunch of Blues. They’re almost inspiring poetry.
There will be two notable absentees for Chelsea. Arguably their two biggest stars this season, N’Golo Kante and Diego Costa will miss this match through suspension. Kante has been as brilliantly industrious as ever in the centre of the park since moving from Leicester. Costa is the division’s top scorer and arguably it’s stand-out player. His forward play this season has been sublime. While they’ll miss the duo, there’s a suspicion that they picked up bookings intentionally. The air deserve a break and will be absent for a very winnable fixture.
Michy Batshuayi will get a rare start. The £33.2 million summer signing has only made 13 appearances in all competitions since moving from Marseille. Conte has blocked a loan move away in January, assuring him he’s a valued member of the squad.
Chelsea predicted XI: Courtois, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Luiz, Moses, Alonso, Matic, Fabregas, Hazard, Willian, Batshuayi
