Manchester City to win with a -3 handicap @ 21/10
Manchester City will have fully expected to reach this stage of the Carabao Cup having spent the money they did last summer. Despite what manager Pep Guardiola says, they are the best team in the country right now and favourites for almost all the competitions they have entered. Facing Bristol City in a two-legged semi final, though, was certainly not on the cards.
City have rested key players throughout this competition and have been taken to penalties in two previous rounds. Lee Johnson’s Bristol City side knocked out Manchester United in the last eight, and while they will be no pushovers, Guardiola will want the tie to be stacked in their favour by the time they head to Ashton Gate for the return. We expect a comfortable home win for the Cityzens.

Though City lost their winning run just shy of the European record by drawing with Crystal Palace three games ago, they bounced back in style with victory over Watford in the Premier League and then they survived a scare before easing through to the FA Cup fourth round at home to Burnley on Saturday.
Bristol City are still well in the promotion race in the Championship, but they are some way behind Wolves at the top, whom they drew with at home recently. Their FA Cup dream was ended by Watford on Saturday, a side they beat on the road to this semi final earlier in the season.
Manchester City are struggling with injuries in attack. Kevin de Bruyne has a knock, while Gabriel Jesus is out with a knee problem.
Bristol City have no fresh injury concerns ahead of this clash.
