It almost doesn’t matter who Manchester City face right now, they are so dominant that the questions are no longer about whether they can win trophies, it is how easily. Pep Guardiola’s side have already broken the Premier League record of 15 straight wins, and they are well on course to beat the number of goals scored in a season, too. Bournemouth are one of the more entertaining sides in the division, and they provide another chance to wrack up the goals on Saturday.
Guardiola is not a man who looks too far ahead; he has already told his players not to worry about goals and focus more on winning the matches. But it cannot be escaped that the Cherries will be there for the taken, if anything because of Eddie Howe’s consistency in how he sets his teams up to attack. Spaces will surely appear, and although they might get chances going forward, City will be confident of picking up where Liverpool left off at the Vitality Stadium a week ago.
City’s attention turns to the Carabao Cup and a trip to Leicester on Tuesday night, between this preview being written and the match being played. But they have looked flawless all season, particularly in the Premier League. After a spell in which they relied upon late goals to win games, Guardiola’s men have returned to their dominant best in recent weeks, comfortably beating two supposed title rivals Manchester United and Tottenham. Their wingers have been crucial this season with both Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane have both chipped in with goals, and though we went for the latter as FGS, they are each priced the same in the market.

It hasn’t been so easy for Bounemouth in recent weeks. Their disastrous start to the campaign subsided as they started to pick up wins, but despite remaining competitive in games since they have struggled to win games. Four consecutive draws were followed up by defeat at Manchester United and then the humbling at home to Liverpool. That said, they battled hard at Old Trafford and do have a number of attacking players in form, namely Jermain Defoe and Callum Wilson, while also possessing dangerous amounts of pace in the final third that could really hurt City on the counter attack.
Provided City don’t pick up any fresh injuries at the King Power, they will have the majority of their squad available. David Silva could be a doubt, and it is not known whether Guardiola will opt for Sergio Aguero or Gabriel Jesus up front.

Bournemouth will look to recall Callum Wilson to the squad after he missed the Liverpool game, though they themselves are in Carabao Cup action before this game. They face Chelsea for a place in the semi finals and will have that to contend with.
