Premier League Betting Preview | Hull City v Man UtdPublished August 25, 2016
Two wins from two, this should be another easy three points for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United juggernaut. Except, hang on, Hull City also have six points to their name. The newly-promoted Tigers have done exceptionally well to overcome a series of off-the-pitch obstacles to prove their fighting spirit remains intact, as does their considerable quality.
So what will the headlines be on the morning after Saturday’s late kick-off? ‘Pogboom’ after the French midfielder scores his first United goal? ‘Zlatan Time’ because of the Swedish striker’s continued class in his first few Premier League games? Or ‘Phelan Good’ due to the Hull caretaker manager’s third win of the young domestic campaign? Probably not the last one.
Leicester were in complete disarray when they lost on the opening day and Swansea were particularly lacklustre in their defeat last weekend. United haven’t entirely clicked yet but have far too much quality to collapse at the feet of Hull. They might be given a scare though.
