Frank de Boer took a lot of deserved criticism in his short four-game spell in charge of Crystal Palace at the start of the season, and Roy Hodgson has seen the issues and done his best to fix them. But it is no coincidence that the Eagles endured the worst start to a Premier League season with Wilfred Zaha missing through injury. He may struggle for consistency at times, but the Ivory Coast winger is the heartbeat of the side and they really miss him when he is absent. Unfortunately for them, he is out with a knee problem as Tottenham Hotspur arrive at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
WILLIAM HILL HAVE YOU COVERED
It will by no means be an easy task for Spurs, who have not been entirely convincing themselves in recent weeks. A draw in the FA Cup at Rochdale means the unnecessary distraction of a replay at Wembley, but they did show their quality on the road in the Champions League, coming from behind to draw with Juventus. We think Zaha’s absence, added to the form of Harry Kane, will be enough for a Spurs victory.
Roy Hodgson’s impact at Palace means he has not lost many games in the Premier League this season. But they have struggled to get as many wins as they would like, and they sit just one point above the bottom three. Defeat could see them sink down once again.

Spurs, currently fifth, will climb into the top four with victory, if only for a couple of hours with Chelsea travelling to Manchester United later that day.
Zaha continues to recover from minor knee surgery for Palace, while Lucas Moura could make his Premier League debut.
