Austria vs Brazil preview, betting tips and prediction
Can the Selecao head to Russia on a high?
Brazil to win to nil @ 6/4 with Coral
Brazil and Austria clash on Sunday afternoon at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion, and the Selecsl will be desperate to head into the World Cup, and their latest attempt to win a record sixth title, in Russia this summer. Their 2-0 win over Croatia, who will impress at the tournament too, showed that they can beat decent opposition when not at their best. The biggest thing to come out of the game at Anfield on Sunday was the return of Neymar, the Paris Saint-Germain superstar, who has been out with an ankle injury for the last three months. He scored the first goal and played as if he’s never been away, which bodes well for Brazil heading into the competitive games against Serbia, Switzerland and Costa Rica.

Austria will be disappointed not to be heading to Russia, especially having qualified with ease for Euro 2016 two years ago. They still have a number of players who can cause Brazil problems, including Bayern Munich defender David Alaba, who thrives in a midfield role on the international stage. West Ham’s Marko Arnautovic found a new lease of life at the London Stadium last season under David Moyes, with his form even attracting reported interest from Manchester United. They are a good team and they should not be underestimated, but the Selecao shouldn’t have too many problems getting a win.
In terms of other tips, backing Arnautovic to score could be a good call at 21/10 with Coral, despite our overall recommendation that suggests Austria won’t score. If they do, with ten goals for West Ham since November, Arnautovic is their best hope. Roberto Firmino better in the Croatia game at Anfield, the home of his club, Liverpool, and at 23/20 with Coral, he may be worth backing again.
