Wilfried Zaha FUMING As He Tweets Outrage At Tackle Against Arsenal
Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has taken to Twitter to criticise Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi for a tackle in the Eagles’ 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Gunners missed the chance of a last-gasp win as VAR ruled it out after Zaha had inspired a comeback to continue Palace’s impressive away record this season. They have already won at Manchester United and West Ham and currently sit in the top half of the Premier League table.

Unai Emery is under growing pressure after failing to bounce back from the 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United on Monday night. Sokratis and David Luiz struck in the opening ten minutes to put Arsenal in control, but Luka Milivojevic’s penalty and Jordan Ayew’s equaliser spoiled the party. VAR stepped in to overturn the penalty decision after Zaha was originally booked for diving, before ruling out a Sokratis second, which would have given Arsenal a crucial three points.
But Zaha, a vocal critic of his treatment by referees, went on social media to make a point about Guendouzi’s challenge. It appeared he almost Rugby tackled the Ivory Coast winger, who captioned the picture with ‘the NFL is at Wembley’, referencing the physical nature of the coming together. Zaha was baring down on goal at the time and could have gone on to win it for Palace.
Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka stole the headlines with his ugly reaction to being substituted. He appeared to swear at the crowd, who cheered his withdrawal and wanted him to be quicker about leaving the pitch, before throwing the armband and his shirt onto the ground and heading down the tunnel.
