There are several players at Manchester United, who haven’t exactly set the world alight over the last seven days, but unfortunately for Paul Pogba, none of them cost £90m.
When you’re the world’s most expensive player of all time, expectations are extremely high, and failure to live up to that hype, will certainly be scuritnised at every opportunity.
The Frenchman was pretty ineffective during United’s 2-1 derby day defeat to Old Trafford, and it seems as though Pogba has also come under criticism for his performance during United’s 1-0 Europa League defeat to Feyenoord on Thursday night.
The France international was a peripheral figure in the first half as he epitomised a lack of urgency and intensity from the visitors in Holland.
Pogba pushed further up the pitch after the break and, despite looking a little more threatening as he attempted two long-range shots which went comfortably off target, he could not find the quality to help find a way through the Dutch side’s defence.
The 23-year-old, is set to set the world alight since his world-record move from Juventus, and whilst of course it’s early days, there are already lots of fans and critics sticking the knife in, at Paul Pogba’s Manchester United career so far.
After United’s embarrassing defeat in Europe, fans took to social media to have their say on Paul Pogba’s performance.

Re Pogba, many believe that last season was the best of his career so far, and yet he was relatively anonymous for the first ten games or so
