Former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has only been at LA Galaxy for a matter of weeks, but the Swede is already making a name for himself on American television after an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show.

Ibrahimovic scored on his MLS debut with a stunning lob over the Los Angeles FC goalkeeper, and he appears to feel as home off the pitch in Hollywood than he does off it.

He approached the interview like he has any other, with his almost cartoonish arrogance coming through in droves, often referring to himself as a lion, and claiming he may go to the World Cup this summer because “a World Cup without me would not be a World Cup.”

Kimmel also brought out a copy of the LA Post, in which Ibrahimovic had taken out a full advert and written the words: “Dear Los Angeles, you’re welcome”, to commemorate his arrival.
