PSG star Neymar was gracious in defeat on Tuesday night, congratulating Brazilian teammate Roberto Firmino after he scored the winner in a 3-2 Champions League win at Anfield.
The Reds stunned Neymar and his teammates, who did pull the score back to 2-2 after Firmino, who started the game as a substitute, struck late on.
It is clear that PSG’s main man is not too happy with the result, but as he showed in the video below, stopping his fellow countryman in one of his post-match interviews, he has a lot of humility.
Firmino’s celebration caught the eye, pardon the pun, after he was struck in his socket against Tottenham at the weekend. After coming on to steal the headlines, he covered his eye, referencing the incident brilliantly.
Next up for Liverpool is a home game against Southampton on Saturday, while they return to European action with a tough test against Napoli in the San Paolo in a fortnight’s time.
