Zlatan Ibrahimovic returned to the Manchester United side with a bang on Saturday night and made sure everybody knew he was back.
The Swede has been out injured for months after damaging his cruciate ligament in the Europa League last season. For most players, that would end their careers at the age of 36, but Zlatan is not like most players.
Having been officially released at the end of last season, the top scorer from last season with 28 goals impressed boss Jose Mourinho so much with the pace of his recovery that he offered him a new deal.
GET THIS GREAT LADBROKES OFFER!
Not one for modesty, Zlatan often refers to himself as a lion. Here he is doing so once again, while also claiming he had no doubts he’d be as good as ever upon his recovery.
"Lions, they don't recover like humans."

"We're doing the lions thing again, yeah?"

Only Zlatan, eh?
STUNNING OFFER FROM WILLIAM HILL!
Here are a few Twitter reactions, too…
From a veterinary/medical perspective, that Ibra quote about lions not recovering like humans is neither true nor particularly funny. Lions, without benefit of physio available to Zlatan, would take longer to recover. Also, he is not a lion.
