VIDEO: Jose Mourinho gets agitated by questions about Marouane FellainiPublished December 05, 2016
Jose Mourinho was not a happy man after Manchester United were held to a third successive 1-1 draw in the Premier League by Everton. The Special One (or Special Once as some media outlets are calling him) didn’t appreciate questions about substitute Marouane Fellaini. Mourinho brought him on with five minutes left to play and it proved to be United’s undoing.
Even by the low standards that United fans expect from him, the Belgian midfielder had a shocking cameo. Failing to complete a pass, he gave away a penalty with three minutes to go allowing Everton to equalise and steal a point. Cue a tetchy Mourinho in his post-match press conference.

Responding to a journalist asking why he brought on Fellaini, Mourinho hissed: “I thought you would know more about football than you do.”Everton is not a passing team anymore like they were in the past. Everton is a team that plays direct: goalkeeper direct, Ashley Williams direct, Ramiro Funes Mori direct. Everything direct.

“When you have on the bench a player with two metres [in height] you play the player in front of the defensive line to help the team to win the match.”
Mourinho ended up leaving the press conference rather abruptly, fed up with fair questions about his team not getting the points performances deserve.
