TWEETS: Liverpool fans react to Mohamed Salah's injury
Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah went down the tunnel in the second half against Manchester City but the talk over the Egyptian’s injury is position.
Fans were understandably worried when Mo Salah appeared to be struggling with his groin before being substituted.
Salah was excellent against City and beat Kyle Walker down the line at almost every attempt. His little touches helped as Liverpool pressed, won possession, and sprang forward. Not to mention adding a goal and assist to his incredible tally for the season.
Jurgen Klopp was asked at full-time to provide an assessment of the Egyptian’s injury after the match.
“I don’t know in the moment,” said the Liverpool boss.
“He came to the sideline and said he feels sometimes something. For me, that was enough for me to not even ask the doc how he was, we immediately took him off the pitch.

“After the game I asked him and he said, ‘I will be good, it will be fine’. But now we have to wait for the real diagnosis, not Mo’s self-diagnosis.
“We will see, I don’t know at the moment.”

Klopp brought Wijnaldum on to replace Salah as Liverpool won 3-0. A chance was also given to Dominic Solanke but the young striker didn’t have much work to do at that stage with City pushing for an away goal.
