Tottenham Hotspur defender set for shock summer departure
Kyle Walker has reportedly decided to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer after a bust-up with Mauricio Pochettino, with The Independent reporting a three-way race to sign him.
Walker has been in fine form for Spurs this season, but is at war with Pochettino over his fitness and performances in training. The England fullback was dropped to the bench for the North London Derby victory over Arsenal on Sunday.
Barcelona, Manchester United and Manchester City are said to be the clubs monitoring the situation, but both Pochettino and Daniel Levy do not want to sell Walker, who is valued at around £35million.
Pep Guardiola is in need of fullback cover at City this summer, and while Barcelona may be a surprising name, they are also short of options in that position.

Walker has developed an excellent on-pitch relationship with his opposite number Danny Rose, with both playing a vital role in Pochettino’s system at White Hart Lane this season. Spurs are unbeaten at home and just four points behind Premier League pace setters Chelsea.
But he is not the only man said to be in demand, with Rose, Dele Alli and Harry Kane all high on a number of club’s lists this summer.
