Super Computer Predicts Final Premier League Table
A super computer has had a go at predicting the outcome to this Premier League season, and it has confirmed what everybody already expected.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will win the title in record-breaking fashion, with 98 points. They had been on course to crack 100, but they will still finish a mammoth 18 points above rivals United by losing just once more all season.
After a long three-way battle for the Champions League spots, Liverpool and Chelsea will qualify while Tottenham will finish in fifth. Arsenal will also miss out, but by finishing nine points back, they were not really in the race.
What appears to be the tightest relegation battle currently, with arguably 11 teams involved, will soon spread out with West Brom, Stoke and, on goal difference and level with Swansea, Southampton all in line for a season in the Championship.
The three promoted clubs from this season, Newcastle, Huddersfield and Brighton, will all be relatively comfortable in their survival.
