Alexis Sanchez ought to be smiling like a Cheshire Cat, I mean Golden Retriever, given statistics that were revealed regarding his performances of late.
From being played out wide to becoming Arsenal’s central man in attack, Sanchez is already being tipped for Player of The Year and we’re only in December.
Following his goal on Tuesday night against Everton, the former Udinese and Barcelona star is leading the Premier League goalscoring charts on par with Chelsea’s Diego Costa on 12 goals.
But it’s not all about goals with Sanchez. There is much more to his game than hitting the back of the net.
These statistics, made aware to us by our friends over at Footy Accumulators, were put together before Arsenal’s recent defeat at the hands of a struggling Everton side. They show Sanchez in a positive light — delivering at the same level as those he was sold in favour of.
He's certainly up there with the best! ? pic.twitter.com/Z8nS0po49h

Arsenal fans have their concerns regarding Sanchez and ongoing contract talks. The club cannot go about selling its best players if it’s their objective to improve and collect silverware anytime soon.
A player of Sanchez’s level would walk into most teams. Clearly not Barcelona, though. Or is that debatable in 2016?
