Ronaldo opens hotel as Real Madrid star plans life after football
Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has launched a second hotel venture that the Ballon D’Or contender says will be an important aspect of his life following retirement as one of the world’s greatest ever players.
In a more positive light, after failing to inspire Madrid to victory over Eibar, Ronaldo flew back to his native Portugal to officially open the Pestana CR7 Lisboa hotel.

Speaking at the launch, Ronaldo insisted that he is keen to pursue several business ventures outside of football but hinted that he may have almost ten years remaining in his playing career. Let’s hope his underwear range is non-existent when that time comes around.
“Life is not just about football,” Ronaldo told A Bola. “Although football is my grand passion, I must start to think about the future. I don’t have many years left, about 10 more or less, so I must look to the future.”
The hotel has 82 rooms in total and a night will cost a minimum £200 — unless your surname is Messi. Then, it will cost double.
However, the rooftop CR7 suite, which comes with a 48” HD TV, PlayStation 4 with virtual reality glasses and games, will cost you £1,250.
This sure is one way to get over a disappointing La Liga result.
