Riyad Mahrez's Wife Pleaded With Leicester To Let Him Join Man City
Riyad Mahrez’s wife appeared to join the pleas to allow the Algerian winger to join Manchester City on Transfer Deadline Day, posting a Tweet that was swiftly deleted.
The Premier League champions-elect had made three unofficial bids for Mahrez on the final day of the window, reaching a maximum fee of £65million, which the Foxes claimed was still £30million shy of their valuation.
Mahrez, who was PFA Player of the Year as Leicester won the Premier League in 2016, has been absent from training for four days. He missed the defeat at Everton on Wednesday as his perspective move fell through and will not face Swansea on Saturday.
