Days after the Manchester Derby at Old Trafford last week, which Manchester City won 2-1, details of an alleged bust-up once the game had finished are still emerging.
City moved 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League with the win, thanks to goals from David Silva and Nicolas Otamendi, and they have since equalled the record for successive league wins of 15 by beating Swansea 4-0 in midweek.
But a supposed brawl between the City and United camps has kept the clash in the headlines. Home boss Jose Mourinho is reported to have walked into the away dressing room to ask if ‘excessive celebrations’ could be calmed.
After an altercation with Ederson, the City goalkeeper, some milk was apparently thrown and hit a member of United staff.

Other reports then claimed taunts from the City backroom team towards Zlatan Ibrahimovic, saying he “talks a lot but moves little” led to punches being thrown.

But the Manchester Evening News now say the Swede was in the treatment room after sustaining a knock in the game. It may be some time until the full details emerge.
