Though, his wife Anna Lewandowski has now revealed that the pair have a dream to move to Los Angeles before he ends his playing career, with the player already at 29-years-old.
That will mean the player will be moving in the next few years if he is to end his career in America and with Anna specifically stating Los Angeles as their preferred destination, there is only one club that fits the bill and could even get close to the players’ wage demands.
That club is the famous LA Galaxy.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been linked with a move to the club in the past so the wage demands should not be a huge issue for the club, who are seen as a huge club in the MLS having housed players such as David Beckham and Steven Gerrard.
Though, Robert Lewandowski in his prime would no doubt go down a treat in Los Angeles if they can get a deal done.
What Anna Lewandowski has not specified is when they are going to look to move to LA and how they are going to go about it.
It’s quite clear that LA Galaxy would be unable to afford the fee required to sign the player, which could leave his ready to run down his contract similar to that as Zlatan Ibrahimovic does when he has moved clubs in the past.
Safe to say, it would be one of the biggest deals of the century if LA Galaxy can pull it off in the next few years.
