Manchester United revealed on Instagram their quickest player this season.

Marcus Rashford picked up a record timing of 35.07km/h, calculating a quicker speed than any of his United teammates.

Other players in the running for quickest at United would include Antony Martial, Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw.

Last season Shaw recorded a top speed of 34.13km/h, beating out the likes of Memphis Depay’s 33.78km/h, Wayne Rooney’s 33.54km/h and the measly 33.1km/h set by Chris Smalling.

Who's the fastest #MUFC player this season? @MarcusRashford at 35.07km/h, that's who! ???

But what should be a priority for Rashford is breaking back into the United starting line-up.

Opportunities have come for Rashford but the team is less reliant on the young England forward, which, could be equally considered a positive and negative depending on your perspective.

Rashford broke onto the scene for United under Louis van Gaal last season, scoring several important goals and receiving a call-up to the England national side.

Often played on the flank, it remains to be seen what the future holds for Rashford in a positional sense. What’s certain is that United have a real star on their hands, and one that can run at the speed of light. Well, almost.
