EA Sports really are teasing us when it comes to the latest installment of the world renowned FIFA video game.
Over the last few weeks, the popular franchise has been drip-feeding FIFA 17 players stats to fans with the official release of the new FIFA due on September 29.
The latest ratings for the upcoming edition have generated plenty of debate among not only gamers, but even top footballers, too.
Whilst fans and footballers argue about certain players’ overall ratings, the latest free-kick stats for the new game has been released, which is another topic set to cause plenty of controversy.
It is truly amazing that even at the ripe old age of 37, Andrea Pirlo is still the set-piece king in world football. In FIFA 16, he was second on the list. But this year, the New York City FC midfielder has taken the top spot away from last Hakan Calhanoglu, who slips to number two.
Elsewhere Swansea midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson makes the top ten list, whilst Manchester United flop Memphis Depay is still considered the 7th best Free-kick taker in the game.
The world’s greatest player Leo Messi is number six on the list, with West Ham star Dimitri Payet at number five and Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic at number three.
