Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann says he grew up idolising David Beckham and he only wears long-sleeve shirts to pay homage to the former England captain.
Griezmann has become a world class footballer in his own right at Atletico Madrid, the cross-town rivals of an old club of Beckham’s, Real Madrid. He also helped France to the final of Euro 2016, scoring six goals in the tournament.

His blend of hard work and technique has made him a household name, but his kit style is derived from Beckham, arguably the most famous footballer of all time.

The Frenchman, a close friend of Paul Pogba, has been linked with a summer move to Manchester United. Perhaps Beckham could inspire Griezmann to make the move to his first club.
