Aaron Ramsey is set to leave Arsenal on a free transfer in the summer and his new club has been revealed.
The Welsh midfielder has been a star for the Gunners since moving to the club as a 17-year-old in 2008. But he is the latest player, Alexis Sanchez, Samir Nasri and Robin van Persie to enter the last year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium.

Both Ramsey and Arsenal had been in talks to renew his deal until a matter of weeks ago, when the club’s offer was withdrawn and it was suggested he would be leaving.

Attention quickly turned to potential destinations, with Manchester United and Liverpool reportedly keen on signing him.
It is Bayern Munich, though, who are said to have won the race for his signature, as reported The Independent.
The Bavarians are struggling right now and could be set for a new start next season; Zinedine Zidane and Ramsey’s ex Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger have been linked with replacing Niko Kovac at the Allianz Arena.
If Ramsey does move to the Bundesliga, he will hope to follow the lead of Reiss Nelson and Jadon Sancho, British players who have shone for Borussia Dortmund and Hoffenheim this season.
