Real Madrid star open to the club signing this youngster
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos says the ‘gates are open’ for Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe join the club in the future, per Sky.
Mbappe, 18, is one of the hottest properties in Europe right now, having starred in the Champions League and helped Monaco to the top of Ligue 1.
He recently made his France debut and faced Ramos’ Spain in a World Cup qualifier.
Speaking after the 2-0 victory, Ramos said Mbappe would be welcomed at the Santiago Bernabeu.
“I do not call the president [Florentino Perez] to consult me about signings, but the gates of Real Madrid are always open for the best players,” Ramos said.
“If you come to Madrid, Mbappe, we will welcome you with all the affection as we always do with the new players who arrive.”

Ramos did state he believed talk of players arriving was disrespectful to those already at the club
“Right now it’s a lack respect for those in the squad to get us talking about others who are not from the club.”
