Real Madrid have set their sights on Chelsea star Eden Hazard this summer, and are willing to offer £100million plus Gareth Bale to make the deal a reality.
Hazard has shown glimpses of his true quality this season, but was a crucial member of the side that brought the Premier League title to Stamford Bridge last season, just as he was in 2014/15.
Eden Hazard on Telefoot asked about Real Madrid. ? Playing on repeat: “In football anything can happen. But in football nothing can happen too. Every year they talk about Real or PSG. And when I want to change clubs, I will. But at the moment I’m good where I am.” #cfc pic.twitter.com/dP5fQlBBVu

It would take a lot of money to make Chelsea even consider selling the Belgian, but that is what Real appear to be willing to offer. Bale has never been fully appreciated in Spain, and while he has not asked to leave before, he may see this as the perfect opportunity at the right time to return to English football.

There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding Chelsea currently, with boss Antonio Conte unlikely to remain in charge beyond the end of the season. But their hand is strengthened in this case by Hazard again stressing he is happy in London.
