Real Madrid to clinch amazing £161m World Record Transfer Within 24 Hours
Real Madrid are set to sign rising star Kylian Mbappe, as they lead the race over Manchester City. The 18-year-old striker made a name for himself last year, securing Monaco’s Ligue 1 title, during his breakout season, netting 26 goals in 44 appearances.
Los Blancos are believed to close Mbappe for £161m, which would topple the world transfer record. The club are looking to continue their reign after winning the double last season, clinching the Spanish league title, and securing back-to-back Champions League titles for the first-time ever.

However, City are not letting up in their pursuit, despite not making an official offer for the French international. Pep Guardiola refuses to rule out a move, stating to Sky Sports “anything can happen.” The Citizens could make a whopping £143m bid for the Monaco striker.
This could create a bidding war between the Spanish and English clubs, allowing Monaco to get their record transfer fee.
If City fail to capture Mbappe, Pep will put his efforts back to signing Alexis Sánchez. The Chilean international is reported to be losing patience at Arsenal, and expressed interest in making a move away from the Emirates.
