Paris Saint-Germain have used Twitter to hit back against Eric Cantona after the Manchester United legend branded them a ‘small club’ in an interview recently.
The Frenchman, who became known as ‘King Eric’ during his brilliant, if controversial, spell at Old Trafford during a dominant period in the 1990s, criticised the club for not playing Argentine midfielder Javier Pastore, whom he claimed to rate.
He went on to say that Jose Mourinho should sign him for the Red Devil’s.
“He [Pastore] plays for Paris but he doesn’t play in the team. I think he is a great player,” he said in an interview with fan YouTube channel FullTimeDevils.
“He played for Argentina, which is a great country – but he doesn’t play for Paris, which is a small club.”
But PSG hit back by quoting Cantona’s rather bizarre saying when he decided to leave United and retire to pursue an acting career.

It seems they were suggesting Cantona was after some attention.
