PSG closing in on one of Europe's top marksmen
Wantaway Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain this summer, per Sky.
Aubameyang, 27, has informed Dortmund of his desire to leave after scoring 35 goals this season. The club’s chances of keeping him took a hit when manager Thomas Tuchel departed the club yesterday.
PSG may also have a new manager by next season, with current boss Unai Emery under pressure after failing to win the league title and being knocked out of the Champions League in embarrassing fashion by Barcelona.
The Sun is reporting the Gabon striker will cost around £60million and earn almost £9million per-year in Paris.
This news will come as a massive blow to a number of clubs, particularly in the Premier League. Manchester City had been reportedly interested, while Manchester United are on the lookout for a new striker to possibly replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Wayne Rooney.
Real Madrid were believed to be in pole position to sign him after he promised his grandfather he would one day move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
