Premier League trio target shock move for rival defender
Three Premier League clubs are queueing up to make a shock move for unsettled Manchester United fullback Luke Shaw this summer, per the Daily Star.
Shaw, 23, has not had the best of seasons at Old Trafford having been publicly criticised by boss Jose Mourinho for his attitude on more than one occasion.
The former Southampton defender has struggled since joining as a teenager in 2014, with a serious knee injury effecting his progress last season.
It has been reported the player wants to prove Mourinho wrong, but Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City are said to be keeping an eye on his situation.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino played a huge role in Shaw’s development at St Mary’s and there are whispers that Danny Rose could leave White Hart Lane this summer.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are in need of a left-back with james Milner filling in there at Anfield this season.
A huge summer is on the horizon for United, but perhaps Shaw could be a victim of the transition.
