Chelsea have officially signed Austrian wonderkid Thierno Ballo Viktoria Koln, after he was pictured holding the shirt at Stamford Bridge.
While the announcement is yet to be formally made, the 16-year-old is in west London, ready to take on the challenge with the Blues. Big things are expected of Ballo, who already has a growing reputation in Germany, where he’d been playing, Austria and England.
Having already played a few youth games at the Chelsea academy, Ballo has impressed coaches at the Cobham training ground. Last season, he even netted five goals in one game against West Ham.
HERE’S ANOTHER STUNNING OFFER
Chelsea do have a really good academy, which has won the FA Youth Cup on a number of occasions in the last few years as well as the UEFA Youth League. But the path to the first team is certainly tough and Ballo must be up for the challenge.
