Pep Guardiola finally loses patience with key underperforming star
Pep Guardiola has finally realised what the rest of us have been thinking for some time.
Claudio Bravo is not the goalkeeper for Manchester City – and will be replaced in the summer.
That will allow a player who is not happy to find a club and country that suits him better, and the club to find a goalkeeper more suited to the demands of the Premier League – something Bravo clearly is not.
Ironically for Pep, he signed Bravo and discarded Hart for the fact Bravo is a ‘better keeper with his feet’, yet it seems the former Barcelona stopper cannot even do the business with his hands.
However, that will not mean a recall for Joe Hart, with Guardiola still convinced the England number one is not good enough for City, meaning the club will have to look elsewhere.
Initially, they wanted to sign Marc-Andre Ter Stegen from the Catalan side, and had to settle for Bravo, something that could well cost them the Premier League title now.
Hart will be told to find another permanent club in the summer, with no future for him at City, and has been linked with Liverpool and a host of foreign sides, so should not be short of suitors, you’d have to think he’s not exactly saddened by the events at the Etihad this season either.
