Manchester United’s Paul Pogba has hit out at members in the media who have hit out at the player for his off-field antics and flamboyant hairstyles.
The Frenchman struggled last season during the Premier League and was heavily criticised by many for his performances having lost his place in the Manchester United first team.
A supposed falling out with Jose Mourinho did not help but it was a completely different story when he went to the World Cup under Didier Deschamps.
The player was pivotal in France’s second ever World Cup and scored in the final of the tournament against Croatia, earning rave reviews from many.
That lead to him doing a Q&A this week and there was one very interesting question and answer which he featured, using to hit back at the media.
The question was asking why the player did not sport a new haircut, as he chose to go with his natural colour and style.
His response was clear, that he didn’t want to give the media an excuse to criticise him off the pitch, so that he could have ‘peace’ during the tournament.

He was made sure that during the tournament, everyone would only be able to talk about his performances on the pitch and that is exactly what happened, but for all the right reasons.
Whether it’s going to be more of the same next season or back to what it was last season is yet to be seen but Pogba will be hoping that he can reach the levels he did for Manchester United that he did for France.
