Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar could be sent to jail for up to six years if he is found guilty of fraud.
Prosecutors have been looking for a two-year sentence when he stands trial in relation to his transfer from Santos to Barcelona in 2013.
If he is given a sentence longer than the originally thought two years, it will be a huge blow to Neymar, because sentences under that time are usually suspended, meaning he would likely avoid jail time.
Neymar could face up to six years in prison for fraud and corruption over his Barcelona transfer, according to a Spanish judge. https://t.co/w570wiKemo

Both Barça and Santos, as well as the player’s parents and current and former Blaugrana presidents Josep Bartomeu and Sandro Rosell all face charges.
Neymar left Camp Nou and moved to PSG for a world record £198million in the summer of 2017.
