Mohamed Salah’s reputation as one of the nicest people in football increased after Liverpool’s win over Napoli on Wednesday night.
The Reds booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League with a 1-0 win at Anfield, thanks to a goal from the Egyptian. At full time, he gave his shirt to a young fan, who was then reduced to tears.

Salah is a fan favourite on Merseyside, and judging by this, it is because of more than his amazing goalscoring exploits since joining from Roma in the summer of 2017.
Jürgen Klopp’s men finished second in the group behind Paris Saint-Germain, but considering they lost all three away games, they will be happy enough to progress.
They will find out on Monday who they will face next, with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona potential opponents for the game in February.
