Mohamed Salah posted a rather cryptic message on Twitter after Spain’s exit from the World Cup.
La Roja were beaten 4-3 on penalties by hosts Russia in Moscow on Sunday afternoo, having drawn 1-1 after extra time. An own goal by Sergei Ignashevich was cancelled out by Artem Dzyuba’s spotkick before half time.
Sergio Ramos was closest to Ignashevich before he put through his own net, and Salah’s tweet could be aimed at him after their coming together that saw the Egyptian damage his shoulder in the Champions League final.
Some might think it’s over but it isn’t over. There needs to be change.

Not only did the injury force Salah off before half time as Real Madrid beat Liverpool in Kiev, but it clearly impacted his ability to play at the World Cup.
Sergio Ramos in tears after that penalty shoot out. Bet @MoSalah soooooooo wishes he could have been there to laugh at him.

He was powerless to stop Egypt getting knocked out at the Group Stage by Uruguay, who finished on top, and Russia.
