Mohamed Salah Hugged Roma Players Before Destroying Them
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah may have torn Roma apart on Tuesday evening, but he didn’t forget to show his respect to his former teammates before kick off in the Champions League semi final at Anfield.
The Egyptian took his goal tally for the season to 43 with a brace in a 5-2 win, while his strike partners Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane completed the scoring. Edin Dzeko and Diego Perotti made it interesting in the last ten minutes, but the Reds are still overwhelming favourites to progress.
Before the game, Salah’s humility was clear to see when he spent time saying hello to and embracing his former teammates in the tunnel.
Having moved from Roma after a great spell in Serie A last summer, he is sure to get a great reception from the fans at the Stadio Olimpico next week.
