Mohamed Salah has been lavished with praise all season, but he found himself being heavily criticised after he was booked for diving in Liverpool’s defeat to Chelsea on Sunday.
The Reds went down 1-0 at Stamford Bridge, which had reopened the race for the Champions League places. Olivier Giroud’s first half goal was enough to secure the points.
But Salah, who has scored 43 goals this season and won both the PFA and Football Writers’ Player of the Year, appeared to try and con referee Anthony Taylor into giving him a penalty, and it has not gone down well with fans.
Yellow for Salah. Disgusting dive.
Mo Salah who is one of the best players in Europe at the moment had to dive because he is getting pocketed by the one and only Gary Cahill
Quality..
Disgusting dive from Mo Salah, will Liverpool fans condemn him?

Liverpool need to beat Brighton on the last day of the season on Sunday to guarantee Champions League football. They will hope Salah’s three-game foal drought will come to an end at Anfield.
