Michy Batshuayi Perfectly Shuts Down Atalanta Fans After Claiming Racist Abuse

On loan Borussia Dortmund striker Michy Batshuayi responded to reported racist chanting from Atalanta fans in their Europa League tie by brilliantly trolling them on Twitter.

The Belgian, who signed for the Bundesliga giants from Chelsea in January ahead of the World Cup, netted two in a 3-2 victory to help his new side through, continuing his own impressive goalscoring form.

Batshuayi claimed he heard “monkey noises” coming from the stands, but as always on social media, he was able to entertain fans with his response after expressing disbelief that such incidents are still happening in modern day football.

Atalanta were previously hit with an order to play a game behind closed doors after Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly was subjected to racism as his side won 1-0 in Serie A.

UEFA are yet to comment on this latest situation.
