Massive blow for Chelsea: Antonio Conte set to leave the club
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is set to leave the club after disagreements with the clubs management during his time in London.
Antonio Conte has made his feelings on recruitment clear at Chelsea over the past two seasons after the club failed to land several top players and that is one of the eventual factors to the manager deciding to quit Chelsea.
Reports on Sunday claimed that the boss will look to leave at the end of the current season and has invited interest from the Serie A as he looks to return to Italy in the summer of next year.
Conte guided Chelsea to a Premier League title last season in a very convincing campaign in which they walked to the trophy.
Signings such as N’Golo Kante, Marcos Alonso and more made the difference as the side adapted to a new three at the back formation early in the season after a struggling start.
Since that change of formation, Chelsea became the powerhouse of the Premier League and continue to impress this season, even if they had taken a few blows early on in the current season.
Conte revolutionised English football with 3 at the back & got players like Alonso/Moses doing bits— AA (@AgentAzpi) October 2, 2017
But 1 bad performance makes him shit..
Though, the London club are set to lose their star manager in the summer following a rise in tensions with owner Roman Abramovich and the owner’s senior executive Marina Granovskaia.
Reports explain that Conte came very close to quitting the club in the summer after missing out on his targets but decided to stay due to financial benefits for staying around for another year, though this is now likely to be his last season as Chelsea manager.
