Marouane Fellaini says he does not listen to criticism from pundits, least of all Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher.
Fellaini, who is now expected to sign a new contract at Old Trafford despite previously being expected to leave the club when his current deal expires.
Having built up a reputation for being physical on the pitch, the Belgian has been heavily criticised during his time at Everton and United, especially from Carragher.
But the midfielder feels he has good reason to ignore the ex-Liverpool defender.
“How can Jamie Carragher dare to criticise me? The guy spat from his car at a girl after the Manchester (United) vs Liverpool match!”

Carragher, who had been working on the game for Sky Sports, has been suspended until the end of the season after the incident.
