Manchester United prepare stunning move for £112m Premier League star: Attacker chasing £200k a week contract
Manchester United have targeted Tottenham star Dele Alli as Jose Mourinho is monitoring the player’s current situation.
The Spurs midfielder is reportedly in the process of changing agents, which could prompt a move to another top English club. The 21-year-old currently earns £60,000-a-week, and looking to triple his salary. Alli is aware he can earn around £200,000-a-week elsewhere as both Manchester United and Chelsea are ready to swoop in to sign him, according to the Mail.
Tottenham are desperate to keep their young star, who has been an impact player since arriving in 2015. While the North London club are unlikely to allow him go during this transfer window, they will need to either raise his pay or see other Premier League rivals make a move for Alli.
The England international is open to a move, as he expects to become a top earner in Europe. Tottenham striker Harry Kane and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris both earn £110,000 a week including bonuses, and Alli could surpass them if he moves to United.
Jose Mourinho is looking for more young talent and has his sights on another rising star in the Premier League. The Red Devils thrashed both West Ham and Swansea in their opening two matches, putting them on top of the league.
