Manchester United AGREE £90m deal to sign Gareth Bale: Stunning Transfer News
Gareth Bale could be set for a Premier League return. Express reported the Real Madrid midfielder agreed to join Manchester United next summer, in a massive deal.
There’s no hiding the superstar midfielder was targeted by the Red Devils since Sir Alex Ferguson’s era, during his time at Tottenham Hotspurs. Both Ferguson and David Moyes were unable to sign Bale, while manager, José Mourinho believes he can succeed in bringing the Welsh International to Old Trafford.
Bale became the highest transfer in 2013, when Madrid dropped a whopping £86m fee that landed him at the Santiago Bernabéu. The English giants will need to splash even more cash than that, and could topple last summer’s £89 million transfer of Paul Pogba which sent him from Italian side Juventus to United.
Bale won eight major trophies in the last four years, scoring 54 goals in 100 appearances for the club, but his recent injuries allowed Isco to become part of Zinedine Zidane’s Champions League final squad last season.
The Real Madrid midfielder potential move back to England would put United at the forefront, becoming Premier League favorites if the two clubs agree to terms.
