Manchester United 2017/18: Red Devils target trio in £150million spending spree
Manchester United are drawing up their summer transfer plans as they look to build on their return to the Champions League having won the Europa League against Ajax last week.
Jose Mourinho may not have had much of an impact in the Premier League this season, with the Red Devils only managing to finish sixth. But that title, as well as winning the League Cup, means they have something to build on, especially if they spend as much money as they are expected to ahead of the new campaign.

Three players are believed to be among a list of targets, with a deal for one of those very close to completion. Mourinho has returned to one of his former clubs, Italian side Inter, in a bid to sign Croatian winger Ivan Perisic. Sky Sports are reporting talks are well underway, with all parties keen to agree a deal as soon as possible.
The report claims that Perisic, 28, will cost around £36million after impressing in Serie A, scoring ten goals and creating six assists.
While the other two deals are not quite as far along, it is no secret of United’s desire to tie them up. Burnley defender Michael Keane, 25, who actually left United in 2015, looks set to depart Turf Moor after an impressive season under Sean Dyche. Mourinho is said to be keen to re-sign him to shore up his defence after publicly questioning the mentalities of both Chris Smalling and Phil Jones in recent months.
Keane, a United academy graduate, has also keen linked with Everton and could cost as much as £24million, according to the Daily Mail, but Mourinho may sense an opportunity, with the now England defender sensing unfinished business as his former club.
Finally, the biggest deal of the summer could involve United and Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann, per Metro. The Frenchman is said to have an £86million buy out clause in his contract at the Vicente Calderon and has been at the centre of a saga already this season, partly down to him. After claiming a deal to take him to England could be done in a television interview, he later took to Twitter to deny any rumours surrounding him.
United are in need of attacking options this summer, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic suffering a severe knee injury and putting his future at the club in serious doubt. The 35-year-old is yet to extend his expiring contract after scoring 28 goals last season. Club captain Wayne Rooney, 31, could also be set to leave.
