Manchester clubs could do battle for youngster on the cheap
Manchester City and Manchester United could go head-t0-head for Milan goalkeeping sensation Gianluigi Donnarumma, with the teenager available for just £20million, per The Sun.
Donnarumma, 18, has shot to fame in the last couple of years at the San Siro and is the man many believe will succeed his namesake Gianluigi Buffon as Italy’s number one.
But the stopper is entering the final year of his contract with Milan, which could spark a bidding war for his services.
According to the report, he has told friends he is heading for the Premier League, with both Manchester clubs in need of goalkeeping reinforcements.
United look set to allow David de Gea to move to Real Madrid, two years after a perspective deal collapsed because of a paperwork malfunction.

City, meanwhile, have struggled in that department since Pep Guardiola opted to ship Joe Hart out on loan and replace him with Claudio Bravo, only for the Chilean to endure a nightmare first season at the Etihad Stadium.
