Manchester City want FOUR fullbacks in £110m spree
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is keen to sign four fullbacks this summer, totalling £110million, per the Daily Star.
City are in desperate need of fullback cover after allowing both Pablo Zabaleta and Gael Clichy to leave on free transfers this summer.
Juventus’ Dani Alves, Ryan Bertrand of Southampton, Kyle Walker of Tottenham and Monaco’s Benjamin Mendy are all under consideration, with Guardiola looking to spend big.
Many believe the lack of options in that position reduced City’s ability to play the way Guardiola wanted last season and that is why they failed to challenge Chelsea for the Premier League title in the end.
But it is clear they are looking to rectify their issues, and they are looking like a good betting tip to go on and win the title, and challenge in the Champions League, in the coming campaign.
If the quartet to join, they will link up with both Bernardo Silva and Ederson, who are already through the door at the Etihad Stadium.
