Manchester City are looking to make a move for Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen in what could end up being a huge deal.

The Danish defender has broken into the first team this season having spent the past few out on loan but is not yet seen as a guaranteed a starting spot.
Though, at the age of 21-years-old, there is a lot of time for him to grow into a regular for Chelsea and they will certainly not be looking to lose him so early in his career.

“I heard a wee whisper, and I don’t know if it’s true, but the player he would really like more than anyone else is Andreas Christensen from Chelsea,” he explained.
“That’s the one he’d really like. He’s not going to get him but he’s at that sort of age he could to the same thing as Stones.”
With that in mind, a partnership of Christensen and John Stones could well be a formidable pair over the next ten years and that is motivation enough for Manchester City to land their man.
Saying that though, it won’t be easy with the London side likely to not be willing to let the player leave, especially not to a title rival.
Safe to say, it’s going to take a lot of money to convince them and that’s something that Manchester City have plenty of.
